JAG students visit DC

Recently, students from Hammond Central High School visited Washington DC for the National Student Leadership Academy (NSLA). These students were participants in the Jobs for America’s Graduate (JAG Indiana). NSLA is a capstone leadership experience for National Career Association state officers and local chapter leaders providing unique experiences through experiential learning, real-world applicability, and networking.

In addition to leadership development, JAG participants will explore our Nation’s Capital, visit with leaders on Capitol Hill, participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, and sightsee during the Twilight Monument Tour.
